The MASCOTS conference is a well-established forum for state-of-the-art research on the measurement, modeling, and performance analysis of computer systems, storage and networks. The 22nd edition of the conference is oriented big data and cloud computing and will take place September 9-11, 2014 in Paris, France. The conference will bring together academics and industry practitioners to present and discuss their latest research results. The technical program for the three-day conference will include keynote talks, refereed full and work-in-progress papers, posters, demonstrations and tutorials.

There will be two keynote speeches:
“Webdamlog and the management of distributed knowledge”, Serge Abiteboul, ENS Cachan.
“A principled approach to the performance-vs.-programmability trade-off in large-scale distributed data stores”, Marc Shapiro, INRIA & UMPC-LIP6.
