Vision & Mission

Cap Digital was accredited by the French Ministry of Industry as the competitiveness cluster for Digital Content and Knowledge Creation industry on 12 July, 2005, known then as IMVN (Image, Multimédia et Vie Numerique). The cluster highlights the region’s economic challenges. It articulates a new economic vision to emphasize collaboration with members of the private sector, formulating strategies that support, enhance and identify opportunities in the industry’s key sectors.

The vision of the cluster is to make Ile de France (the Greater Paris Region) synonymous of the world’s foremost economic cluster in talents, products and services serving the Digital Content and Knowledge Creation industry.

The mission is to promote positive incubation of world-class competitive companies within the region by boosting research innovation and job creation through inter-networking and collaboration of private, public and capital stakeholders.

To achieve this, the cluster’s four core activities centre on:

  • Stimulating research & innovation through label accreditation
  • Fueling company growth through financial and industrial partnerships and lobbying
  • Encouraging best practices and cross-application innovation through dynamic cross-disciplinary membership cooperation & networks
  • Expanding global market access through international alliances, marketing and communications
These activities revolve around the multimedia, knowledge and cultural industries to encourage cross-disciplinary innovation around 6 digital application themes.
