L’Université Paris Nord (Paris 13) and the Holken Consultants group are presenting their concept ATENA, with the support of Cap Digital. ATENA, a series of workshops and conferences focused on the major evolutions in the cultural industries, regroups the sector’s principal actors to create a European network of excellence in digital content and multi-support technologies.

The First ATENA (Atelier Transversal de l’Ere Numérique Avancée or Transversal Workshop for the Advanced Digital Era) will be on the theme of: Convergence and Content: Who are the actors? In order to optimize its research activities, stimulate innovation and markets, and confront the theories and studies in the domain of multimedia and post-multimedia, all the actors of value-chain will debate on these three topics: The repositioning of the actors and the sectors’ changing composition; multi-support logic and questioning the dynamics of creation, production processes, and forms of industrialization; the evolution of modes of valorisation and socioeconomic models
