Tips on getting around using the city underground and bus lines in Paris

From the airport of Charles de Gaulle-Roissy

  • by underground: take RER B (the rapid suburban network) towards south, in the direction of Orly airport, get off at Gare du Nord and take Metro Line 4 in the direction of Porte d'Orleans. Change to Line 8 (direction of Balard) or 9 (direction of Pont de Sevres) at station Strasbourg Saint Denis. Get off 2 stops after at station Grands Boulevards.
From the airport of Orly
  • by underground: take RER B (the rapid suburban network) towards north, in the direction of Charles de Gaulle-Roissy airport, get off at Gare du Nord and take Metro Line 4 in the direction of Porte d'Orleans.
