Membership Structure
Cap Digital groups more than 250 companies, universities and research labs that are at the heart of our mission, defined by three types of membership profiles: SME, large enterprise, universities and research labs, local authorities and industry associations. The cluster currently has more than 15 large enterprise members, almost 200 SMEs, 8 enterprise association memberships combining large enterprise, SME and industry bodies, and about 30 public institutions, universities and research labs. We are particularly unique in having a high concentration of SMEs who make up 80% of our membership while counting the likes of Lagardere Active, France Telecom, TF1, Thales, Hachette, IBM, SFR, Thomson, Unilog, Xerox, EADS, Motorola, etc. among our large enterprise members. Industry Association Members typically assemble private and public players focusing on a particular sub-market segment such as: • Capital Games which groups the region’s independent video game studios. • Silicon Sentier which groups information technology companies in Paris. • Canal Numerique des Savoirs which comprise a network of interactive multimedia resource publishers. • Pôle Audiovisuel Nord Parisien which is a federation of companies, training centres, research labs and public authorities focused on audiovisual development. • FICAM which stands for Federation of the Audiovisual, Cinema and Multimedia Industries. • SPFA which stands for the Paris Syndicate of Film Animation Producers. • Europlace which represents the federation of financial institutions. Any organization having a legal entity to carry out activities in research and innovation in the technology domain of the cluster within IDF is eligible for membership. Membership applicants are required to fill out the online application form and designate a contact liaison with the cluster. The application will be processed by the Executive Secretariat and eventually submitted for approval by the Executive Committee and the Administrative Council.
