Mirakl, a new French licorn is born

Founded in 2011, Mirakl, member of Cap Digital, is a French start-up specialized in software edition.

The company had grown by developing its main product: the Mirakl Marketplace Platform. This product is a SaaS platform that enables retailers and manufacturers to develop their own marketplace, no matter their size or activity.

A $300M fund raising, the most important amount of the last ten years in France

The international fund Permira and historical investors (83North, Bain Capital Ventures, Elaia Partners and Felix Capital) all participated to this operation allowing the French company to reach a valuation of 1,5 billion dollars.

In 2020, Mirakl counts more than 300 customers in 40 countries around the world (Auchan, Carrefour, Conforama, Darty, H&M, Siemens, Toyota, Walmart), and intends to continue its international development by recruiting more than 1000 employees in the next two years, including 300 engineers in France.

Mirakl has become the 10th French unicorn, joining the list next to Contentsquare, Doctolib, or BlaBlaCar. The company is also part of the Next40 , the list of the most promising French scale-ups.
